Hi,

I'm viewing mail with a text based client. So colors don't come through.
Better would be to write plain text (i.e. not HTML) and to quote only
those old texts which are relevant to your new text snippet.

Well, for now i can still distinguish your text from mine.

Two different manufacturers. (Yes, the start and end address of a CD's
physical write area officially tells the manufacturer.)

Again, the same timing of the failure. The third WRITE gets the error
indication as reply.

This looks like the drive is at fault.

Let's see which of the two CD write types was used by Xfburn. SAO will have
reserved the complete size of the ISO in advance, TAO will have determined
the size when writing ended.
So put in one of the writte/spoiled CDs and do

  xorriso -outdev /dev/sr0 -toc

There are supposed to be two lines more than with the blank CDs:

TOC layout : Idx , sbsector , Size , Volume Id
  ISO session : 1 , 0 , .....s , Bilder 2019-03-1

The "Size" value will probably either say 116940s or a low number of a
few hundred. (Block 0 bis 233879 of 1024 bytes means 116940 CD blocks.)

After having determined the failing write type, we can try the other,
if you are willing to sacrifice more CDs rather than testing a different
drive. How curious are you ? :))

shows

with menu titem
  "Schreibmodus:" "automatisch"
Other choices would be something like TAO/Track-at-Once and
SAO/Session-at-once. (Beware of german translations ...)

If "automatisch" means that libburn was allowed to choose, then it probably
picked SAO.

Have a nice day :)

Thomas
