Argh! The syntax-case macro definition of quasiquote used quasiquote itself (thus leading to a little bootstrapping problem). Please change line 256 in syntax-case.scm from (_ (let f ((x x) (k (lambda (ls) `(,(syntax vector) ,@ls)))) to (_ (let f ((x x) (k (lambda (ls) (cons (syntax vector) ls)))) and rebuild chicken. cheers, felix
