Hello,
those of you always updating to the latest darcs version of CHICKEN may
have seen that the compiler has a very cool new feature to check for
possibly undefined symbols at compile time. It's one of those really
useful features that saves you from typos and that I always missed in
Scheme compared to more static compiled languages.
As I requested the symbol checks from Felix in the first place, I am quite
enthusiastic about them, tried them out already and updated my eggs (amb,
aquaterm, openssl, rpc, scgi, sqlite3, sqlite3-tinyclos) to work together
with them by generating the necessary symbol export lists in their .setup
files.
The eggs are available in the usual places in the subversion repository,
on my homepage and on the CHICKEN homepage.
cu,
Thomas
