Ah, so I wasn't using PCRE after all...
BTW, is there a port of Olin Shiver's SRE package?
More generally, the SCSH regexp API looks nice,
especially regexp-for-each and let-match. By
comparison, the chicken API seems to make it tedious
to match repeatedly...
