[Chicken-users] Intent To Package chicken for cygwin

Hello all -
I have been building and using chicken on my cygwin system(s) since
about version 2.3. From reading the users' and hackers' list archives
it seems that John Cowan is the man most responsible for how cleanly
chicken builds on cygwin ... thanks John!

I have packaged chicken as a cygwin binary package. Cygwin users can
point their setup.exe to http://www.liquid.spod.org/~nthern/cygwin/ to
get it.

My intention is to submit this package to the cygwin folks, with
myself as the primary package maintainer and POC. First, however, I
wanted to inform this list about my plans and solicit feedback.

Attached is a patch to Makefile.cygwin that puts the runtime libraries
in the right place.
