It is hard to fully accomplish this, given some aspects of libgcj's
implementation.
However, I think we could get partway there, for instance make it
possible to replace non-"core" (core being defined by stuff libgcj
needs directly) dynamically. This would make developing parts of
classpath simpler for gcj hackers (more like developing with the other
VMs). This could be done, if someone was motivated, in the GCC 4.1
time frame. It is too late for 4.0.
