This shall be possible, but the key is to define appropriate API to support
various ascent tables. For example, the Digital 330m depth gauge has quite
different one
depth (m) <6 <12 <18 <23 <27 <31 <35 <39 <44 <50 >50
speed (m/min) 7 8 9 10 11 13 15 17 18 19 20

I would not be suprised if there are more ascent tables for different
product.
Also, I wonder, is there any scientific paper or a book, which would detail
use of such tables?
