Update of bug #27187 (project denemo):
Severity: 3 - Normal => 4 - Important

Follow-up Comment #2:
I have just tried the sequence on 0.8.7 on linux and windows vista without
seeing the bug. I think what you have seen is a long standing bug which I
fixed recently. What is actually happening is that the denemo thinks the
cursor is at the beginning and is inserting the g there leaving the d at the
end, which misleads you into thinking it entered a d. If this is so, as you
continue to type in notes they appear before the d with the d still at the
end.
If this is not so please describe the sequence & screen appearance after
entering
d
g
backspace
toggle edit
octave down
toggle edit
g
a
b
c
There will be a pre-release windows version available today I hope (it is
already built). Which should have this bug fixed.
