Follow-up Comment #1:

This workaround is so good it should be considered standard, viz parts which
are really owned by a single part should be given the same Denemo Name. The
name field is not used for anything else - it is an historical remnant.
This could stay open to flag up formalizing the situation - the display
should preferentially show the LilyPond instrument name, and the Ossia script
should create the Ossia staff with the same name etc. Documentation too!
