Follow-up Comment #1:
I have just had occasion to use ReBar myself, and it behaved ok, except it
didn't handle the upbeat (so I used the "from this point on" option and that
worked). It was a very simple case though.
The crash is more likely to be due to some fault code that would crash if
guile chose to garbage collect, this has gone now.
We will need something concrete to get any further with this...
