Follow-up Comment #1, bug #33562 (project denemo):
I'm finding similar problems importing simple things like _"4" for a fingering
instruction, or context Staff = "1" gives the importer fits.
If I knew Scheme in the least, I would try to make it tolerant of errors and
either skip over them or make some sort of remark in the score to the effect
of "something bad happened." I'll fiddle anyway but I don't anticipate it'll
do any good.
