Normally, the program is not run during the build process. For Denemo,
that is caused by the tests (which are a very good idea, but IMHO should
not be run within the package building process).
Maybe Josue (who created the Debian build script AFAIK) can comment on
the reasons to invoke make check? Perhaps the regression tests could be
renamed, e.g. to make test?
