Further testing: on trying to launch the file chooser this new version
crashes with the attached message. The error seems to be quite common -
some GTK3 thing requiring a file called gschemas.compiled to be created
and installed.
I found (by chance) that this file *was* present in the
previous version of the zip file (under usr/share/glib2.0/schemas) and I
copied from there to the same place in both the zip installation and
the .exe installation and in both cases the file chooser came up ok.
