Follow-up Comment #1:

This is a property of the widget library rather than Denemo, and while a
modified widget could be created it would be too much effort and result in
unexpected behavior compared to other applications built with that library.
However, it is easy to create a command to move, say, 5 measures left or
right. Just record five moves in the Scheme window and then save that as a
command or palette button.
