Well, it does work for the View menu, but not for the radio buttons in
the View menu, only for commands (like Hide/Show Menus).

These radio buttons are buggy in fact and get out of step with reality
from time to time (i.e. "off" sometimes means "on" and vice versa). But
if you can live with that you can toggle the Print View with
(d-ActivateMenuItem "TogglePrintView")
If you put that in the Scheme window and execute it, it will toggle the
Print View. You could turn it into a command and give it a shortcut,
or make a (palette) button of it.
