This sure is crypic. So missing MPIR but finding MPLIB is the same
thing?

Dependency MPLIB_FOUND = TRUE

And this means I actually did find THIRFT?
Could NOT find THRIFT (missing: PYTHON_THRIFT_FOUND THRIFT_FOUND)

Do these "cancel"?

I don't even see the GMP complaint anymore.
