It *is* called a GNUstep software index, so prioritizing core libraries for presentation to end users would make sense. "You need this first anyway, so we put it first."

But since you've said that it's organized more like a news site than 'just' as a database of all available GNUstep software, my humble suggestion makes little sense :-)

Well, the tool is more or less a collaborative news ticker / rss feed.

Anyone can submit new entries, they are moderated and published if ok.

Therefore it is sorted by date (descending). And new versions come before older of the same application.

and/or main GNUstep project's tools were prioritized.

Hm. Who could be defining these priorities?

Also, having project icons there would be better than screenshots :-)

So far the database does not store any icons.

This is a little experimental since it is only available for the main index of
most recent additions and not for category or full text search.
