If question is to call dolibarr web services, answer is code for client does not depend on server when using web service.

So you should be able to call web service with a standard nusoap or any other tool or language.

But if you want to follow example of client provided into webservices directory, then you must use the nusoap embedded with dolibarr as there was some fix to be compatible with php5.
