Adding the field into tables is ok for me.
Adding fiels into form is ok if there is an option to have a condition to show term or not.

The question is where is the best place to edit this option ?
The best is to put it into the proposal section, as this is related on how goods are sold. It determines the location where
and what services are included in the price of the goods.
If this information must also appears onto invoice or order, proposal is not the good place (module proposal may not be enabled, workflow differs from users and proposal module is often not used).

So some box can be sold in the factory, it can be in the customers warehouse, it can be loaded on the truck or ship and so on. Each term
explains exactly what are the obligations of the seller and buyer.
May be into stock module so ?

That means it is part of the initial quotation, which later should be copied to the confirmation and invoice.

This field seems to be related to transportation. Creating a dedicated module just for one option is a little bit heavy. But if there is other feature specific to this field that come, why not.

Hi all,

A customer asked me to add a new field on proposal, order and shipment : Incoterms.
Here's the wiki source explaining it. In short terms, this notion is a normalized way of describing the "International commercial terms" : http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incoterms

Do you think this could be helpful in the core ? As an option ?

That would be really great to have them in the core. It is the most important terms in international and even national business, as this terms defines the exact obligations for each of the parties, for the seller and for the buyer.

Very important terms in my opinion.
