Hi Everybody,
This is an attempt to work out another "This Week in DotGNU"
series which was suspended when Norbert was caught up in work.
Mailing list
------------
* The dicussion about the Forum and the project leadership continue
* The philosophy file moves up to revision 3 by Silvernerd
* The jabber question comes up all too often. DotGNU seems to have
no doubts about using jabber as an option, but still wants to retain
compatibility to HTTP based stuff.
* Another important point that has come up is the GNUEnterprise or
GNUe . The role of GNUe and its gnue-common libraries , more
specifically "gnu-rpc" in DotGNU are sought out.
* A lot of small stuff about w3c patents etc..
Portable.NET
------------
* Ajmitch announces the debs for the latest release for the
Portable.NET 0.3.4 and 0.1.0 packages.
* Rhys manages to compile up all the ecma dlls
* The pnetlib-status page finally becomes up2date (almost)
* I requested a set of test classes , but have yet to recieve
a response .
Phpgroupware
------------
* Seek3r has mentioned that he'll be back in a few days. More info
later
I have no idea what has gone around in the other DotGNU projects like
the Auth , VRS etc... please inform me. Hope I've covered all.
