dvipng: Security - Floating point exception

Hello,

some time ago we got a bug report, telling about a crash of dvipng [1]. 
The report is for version 1.15, but a contributor told that the issue is 
still present in 1.17.

I'm failing to reproduce the issue using version 1.15 on arm64, for me 
the process grew to a size over 7GB RAM and does not really do anything. 
Please be so kind to have a look and keep me in Cc, I'm not subscribed.
