memory_full often

With the Emacs I built on June 7, I am getting frequent memory full
errors.  That did not happen in the version I built on May 25 (though
I might have updated the sources a few days before then, I don't
recall).  Has anyone else seen this start to happen?

I got new sources a couple of days ago and rebuilt, and the problem
may be fixed, but I cannot be sure just yet.
