I wonder if you could be more specific about `reliable' and `useful' in this
context?
I use the NS port every day, typically for several hours, and I don't see
reliability issues at all. I build from bzr HEAD every few days (at least).
Is the released version troublesome? Is there some particularly key use that
the appkit port enables but the NS port doesn't?
I don't have any particular horse in this race -- I use the NS port simply
because it's the one that allows me to keep up-to-date best. I get the sense
that there are adherents on each side, but that inertia (in both ``this is in
bzr'' and the ``this one isn't merged into bzr'' directions) is the ruling
factor at the moment. With a prerelease in the field, it seems like an
opportune time to merge or swap is in the nearish future.
