I would like to raise a warning about the current status of Emacs-26.
I have done
make distclean
make bootstrap
../emacs/configure --prefix= ...
and I had the surprise that somehow, my whole mingw64 directory -- where emacs is meant to be installed -- has been _erased_ .
Easy enough to fix, but surprising.
