How do you input M-x? That would require the keyboard to stick around when there is no active input, right?I select Edit -> Execute Command from the menu bar. (This option only exists on the branch.)Did you see how JuiceSSH does that? Its keyboard add-on is very convenient in use with Emacs, when I need to SSH into a remote host. It has keys for Ctrl, Alt, Home/End, PgUp/Pgn, ESC, and arrow keys. Very convenient.
Guess what? Such a keyboard add-on is built-in in both Termux and Termux:X11, and what's more it is fully configurable.
