We don't have any misgivings about NonGNU ELPA.  None whatsoever.  We
just think that having packages that provide features that Emacs
should have built in on NonGNU ELPA is sub-optimal.  So we try in
those cases to arrange for those packages to be part of the core.
Recent examples include Eglot and use-package.

We tried to convince you and your colleagues to have these modes
included in Emacs.  You didn't agree.  We get that, although the
disagreement sounded strange to us.  That's all.  No need to represent
this as an unpleasant experience.
