I couldn't find one for /etc/fstab, FWIW.
We have etc-fstab-generic-mode in generic-x.el.
Ah, right.  So ours was just not as good as theirs.

I can't remember which vim mode I saw that we didn't have, then.

And FWIW fstab opens in conf-space-mode here.
Bug?

Not sure: its conf-space-mode entry in auto-mode-alist seems intentional.

etc-fstab-generic-mode starts to get used if I (require 'generic-x), however.
