Having talked about that with Prot[1] we concluded that having it as a
separate package would be the best thing. Also, Denote itself is in
the process of being splitted[2] in several packages.

Now that I think about it... There's no reason. I remember that I
created the minor mode so I could put a custom map. But I should have
created a major mode derived from xref--xref-buffer-mode instead.
I'll fix that!
