This is what I have in my .emacs.

 '(org-agenda-date ((t (:inherit font-lock-type-face))) t)
 '(org-agenda-date-weekend ((t (:inherit org-agenda-date))) t)
 '(org-date ((t (:inherit font-lock-constant-face))))
