Results in:

I am <a href="http://example.org";>so &lt;b&gt;ERRATICALLY&lt;/b&gt;
&lt;i&gt;excited&lt;/i&gt; about this &lt;b&gt;LINK&lt;/b&gt;</a>

Whereas it *should* result in:

I am <a href="http://example.org";>so <b>ERRATICALLY</b> <i>excited</i>
about this <b>LINK</b></a>
