Thank you so much! I am lucky to have my EMMS wishes come true. :)
May I ask yet another question? Thank you for your patience.
For christmas I got a new album and I ripped MP3s from the CD and added the
album to the collection by emms-add-directory. Then I wanted to add some of the
tracks to a playlist of mine. So I marked them in the browser with
emms-mark-forward, copied them by emms-mark-copy-marked-tracks, and went to the
playlist and did emms-playlist-mode-yank. It did yank the tracks' names, but
still with the marking * in front of them, and I cannot play them by hitting
<enter> (error message: No next track), nor can I edit their tags (error
message: emms-tag-editor--tagfile-function: Wrong type argument: stringp, nil).
It seems to me, only the visible string has been copied from the browser, not
the actual track information behind it.
Is there another way to add marked tracks from the browser to a playlist?
And for the personal wish list: I can bury the browser by pressing "q", but I
cannot bury the playlist by pressing "q". I added it to my
emms-playlist-mode-map, but it would be great to have it included as a standard.
Happy new year to you and all who are reading this list! And great you are
constantly adding to the EMMS experience.
