BBAuth is the protocol that's going to open the door to doing the same thing for many Yahoo! They did a quick video bit for some Hack Day video blogging they've got planned.
Everyone on the team is amazed that we managed to pull this off.
Many were okay with being told that we need to burn off some vacation time but would have preferred to be told why in an upfront manner. It's less likely that Amazon's service will go down when compared to my home server and residential grade broadband service. Sure, you have the right to modify the hardware because you bought it.
Libby just let us know that they've thought about it and realized that there's a more flexible way to do this. But why else might I do this?
