The tar file

contains some comented code (tubes.h) and an xp file illustrating use.
If the files are in the same directory, compile with
elaps -I. tubes2.xp
The tubes/vessels are 3-D objects; you can add arrows, etc., manually. (As
usual, you have to arrange scene elements in reverse order of distance to
the camera, if appropriate.)
