Dear ESPResSo Development Team,
I've just formally subscribed to this mailing list and am writing some short personal intro as one has been requested on the
http://espressomd.org.
Some of you, possibly, already knows me by pull requests and other communication (the profile
https://github.com/psci2195/). I've been working with the ESPResSo package since 2015. Before that (since 2005), I've been developing (from scratch, in C/C++/OpenGL) some Brownian Dynamics and Micromagnetic simulation packages for personal academical purposes in the Kyiv National University (Ukraine).
I'm going to continue working on some additional contributions to ESPResSo with a hope that they could be of usage. I have only some minor improvements to the Brownian Dynamics in the mind for the moment. An intention is related to:
(1) a pure academic curiosity as a free researcher;
(2) support some of colleagues in the University to use ESPResSo as a well established and validated open-source package instead of custom ones;
My current affiliation is a commercial IT company (middle+ management level).
P.S. some social notes, only if needed :-)
- favorite philosopher: Paul Feyerabend; favorite writer: Thomas Mann; favorite composers: Beethoven; I'm the Wagner opera fan; modern culture interests: German/US heavy metal.
- German/English translation of my first name is Theo (if it is more straightforward), feel free to skip the academic title.
Have a nice day!
Sincerely yours,
Dr. Bogdan Tanygin
