Dear ESPResSo user,

We are organizing 3rd Workshop on Modelling of Biological Cells, Fluid Flow and Microfluidics. The workshop will be held 9. – 13. February 2020 in Hotel Rozsutec, Vratna, Slovakia. More information is available at the webpage

The workshop is primarily aimed at researchers who work in the field of (red) blood cell modelling especially those using the PyOIF module in ESPResSo (previously known as OIF). During the workshop, the following topics will be discussed:

• modeling and simulations of cells in flow
• PyOIF module (part of ESPResSo) as a tool for simulating flow of cells
• fabrication of microfluidic devices
• microfluidic experiments with cells or other objects in flow
• image processing of recordings from biological experiments
• simulation software
• statistical analysis of data from biological experiments and simulations
• and related topics
