Antoine thanks for the job you are doing here. Just one remark and one fix.

ff3d is a GPL sofware. To ensure that the license is repect, you have to put 
the following header in all the files you create (maybe not example files) :

Of course replace correct the second line to give the year and the author 
name. This template file is 'scripts/addLicence'.

Second thing is that I just saw that one file is 'q1function.pl'. It is stupid 
but the documentation is not up to date, one should now use 'femfunction' [it 
is just a renaming that simplifies the notations for future extensions].

Last thing your testsuite uses perl (which is good), I think you should make 
configure to check its presence on the system and if not deactivate the 'make 
check' instruction.
