| I have just updated the  freefem3D software (version 1.0pre2-2),  but
| unfortunately I think that the freefem3dDoc.pdf.gz file is damaged. Does
| somebody  has encountered this problem ?

I am the one who packaged ff3d and freefem3dDoc.pdf.gz is fine for me
have you gunzip'ed the file first?

Anyway in -3 the .gz is not there anymore pdf files are compressed so 
compressing them with gzip does not make sense.
