Dear ff3d's,

Version 1.0-pre4 has been released yesterday. Some important fixes have been 
performed since pre3, here comes a summary.

New in 1.0pre4:
* Tarballs will now be produced following each (pre-)release (this
  simplifies the compilation task for the user: no more need of 'autoreconf').
* Surface mesh generation fixed thanks to the report of Tobiäs
  Naehring: transformations were not taken into account for composed
  objects.
* doc/paramters.tex is now generated automagically
* --enable-opt became --enable-optimize in configure script
* Fixed boundary and surface mesh association for variationnal
  formulae.
* Plugged P1 FEM functions derivatives evaluation

This is still a none binary distribution.
To get the sources proceed as follow:
- - cvs users:
  cvs update -r v1-0pre4
- - getting tarballs, check the following url:
  http://www.freefem.org/ff3d/sources/

Cecile and Pascal have been working hard on fixing the surface mesh generator, 
it will probably be part of the next release.

The documentation is still very poor, but thanks to the help of Mourad Ismail, 
lots of typos have been fixed.
