Oh dear. I missed the README file.  I have now changed the 2 to a 3
and committed it to CVS.  The change will be in the next release.

I will ask about how to express on the web site the special provision
about embedding.

Let me state that the intent of the FreeFont administration in the
last release was to bring
FreeFont under the GPL v.3 license.
