I'll try a new build, thanks. I'm using whatever is in Debian.

I would have used Savannah but my account seems to be in a half-existing state -- if I go to reset my password it says my account doesn't exist, but if I go to create a new one, it says my account exists.

Hi, David,

First, it is better to post new bugs at

I do not see the problem in recent builds of FreeSerif.
I guess you are using the old build.

I can give you access to a newer build, if you like, for your personal use.

In FreeSerif, the quarter note 1D15F seems to overlap the following
character -- it seems the width isn't large enough. In case it matters,
the quarter note 2669 seems fine. I'm not really a font person, so I
don't know immediately how to fix this (and anyway, my Savannah account
seems to be busted so I couldn't easily send a patch).

I'm not subscribed so please CC me on replies. Thanks.
