  As I remember, I had to add something like
"LDFLAGS=-lncurses ./configure" to get it to compile. I remember I posted
about it and somebody else gave me the tip.

  If you or anyone manages to get it working with Yahoo's new protocol,
please post it to the list, I gave up several months ago. :)
