# CFLAGS=-I/usr/local/include LDFLAGS=-L/usr/local/lib ./configure --prefix=/usr

Make sure you have "/usr/local/lib" in your "/etc/ld.so.conf". If not
please add it and run "ldconfig" command once before starting
"freehoo".
