Sorry for my temporary silence. Work is busy and so are my private
projects. I really hope to make time for freeipmi this week.
BTW, it seems I won't use freeipmi in my Cyclades project, after all.
It turned out that another project there already has a complete IPMI
implementation of the parts I need (sensors, power, and SOL) and
integrating it won't take much more than copying the code tree.

Interesting, I faced this same search quite recently. I settled on
Doxygen and I must say I am quite satisfied with it.
If you prefer pure GNU I believe cxref can do much of the same work,
although the result is not as flashy.
