Subject: | [freesci-develop] opinions on requiring C99 support? |
Date: | Wed, 5 Mar 2008 15:42:37 -0800 (PST) |
Hi,Are there any current developers/porters who would be against requiring C99 support in the FreeSCI code base?
I am fairly certain that GCC 3.3 and above are available on all of the current target platforms, judging from some brief research. I'm totally happy to hear good reasons why not to move forward with this requirement.
On a more experimental (and completely orthogonal) note, what are the opinions on building with g++ by default?
