This is great thank you. I started writing code in FreeType repo for the first time yesterday and it was taking a lot of time to first decode the "styles" used and then use them. This will save a lot of time. :-)

the style itself is not up for discussion.  It's really just about
reporting/formalising the existing style and helping out people who start
contributing to FreeType.
