I asked the EC on February 13, and received the following reply:

I am not sure what that means exactly. Anybody here who speaks
Brussellian?
I presume "we will give further thought to the accessibility of the
current legislation including the perception of copyright overall"
refers to things I wrote in my entry to the review.
