Hmmm,
Usually this is the kind of annoucement that gets flooded to fsfe-uk.
Never mind :) Doubtless, as soon as I press 'Send', a number of others
will, making me look very silly...
LinuxWorld Birmingham (http://www.linuxworld2003.co.uk/) has apparently
been re-scheduled to some unknown date. Basically, it's not happening in
September as originally planned.

Postponing the previous Birmingham event seemed to work quite well (in
that the new organisers actually got the event off the ground ;), so I
don't think there's any reason to be anything other than positive - it's
still a difficult time for IT industry types. Obviously, it means that
the next Expo AFFS will attend is likely to be the London LinuxExpo in
October. Hopefully, this will also mean that the Expos are somewhat more
spread out next year than they were originally planned to be this year.
Feel free to forward this message to the various LUGs/groups who may be
interested (some already know this though, so check first :) As usual,
keep an eye on the AFFS diary for up-to-date information about events,
in case people forget to post the list with the info...
Cheers,
Alex.
