Okay, I'm kinda with ian on this, we do need an open standard for word
processing and spreadsheets. OO.o seems a good one to go with.
I do have one tiny nitpic though :

If you're talking with UK politicians, never use the word citizen, because
we're not. We're subjects. It just makes them think you're not knowledgable
about UK politics.
