Dear friends,

after the withdrawal of the McCarthy proposal, I think it would be wise to 
keep the pressure moderately high, in order to avoid possible "sneaking 
through" of new dangerous proposals and in order to promote a EU regulation 
fully compatible with the value promoted by the FSF. 

I think a proactive behaviour could surprise and disrupt the standard patterns 
(that is "they propose we protest, they propose we protest, they propose we 
protest ...." ...:-)...), and in any case we will arrive to the next 
appointments with a strategy and clear ideas in mind.

What are the next steps we could undertake?
