Yes I am quite convinced that everything works OK on your installation.
I just said it did not work on my installation, although I followed the
procedure indicated on gcl site to update my local copy of gcl, and the
instructions in readme.mingw to build saved_gcl.exe, due to the fact that
minvers and majvers files have DOS eol and not Unix eol on my local copy
of gcl.
So I suggest, in the install script, to run systematically dos2unix on
these two files before using them, as this would make the script more
robust : it would run smoothly whatever the reason of the problem I met
(my fault, or the fault of version 1.10.5 of cvs for Win32 I used, or any
other reason).
